'Henry' manufacturer, Numatic based in Chard reports encouraging growth

According to the latest accounts for Numatic International Ltd, pre-tax profit grew to £13.9m in the year ending 31 December 2016, up from £12.9m in 2015. Turnover remained steady at £137.4m. This growth follows the completion of a new 60,000 sq ft central warehouse facility in Chard, Somerset. Chris Duncan, founder and chief executive of Numatic International, said the improved profitability had been achieved despite worldwide political uncertainty.
