TePe buys land in Wells for UK headquarters

TePe, a Swedish company that designs and manufactures oral hygiene products, has bought a one-acre site at Cathedral Park in Wells, Somerset, for its new UK headquarters.

It secured the site from property and regeneration company Nikal in a deal valued at £335,000.Planning permission has been granted and construction of the new office complex is expected to start in autumn 2015.

The facility will become the head office and warehouse for the UK subsidiary of the TePe global company.

Cathedral Park, a 17-acre mixed-use business park, is currently home to tenants including Aster Communities, Old Mill Accountants, Mogers Drewett Solicitors, marketing agency Cognique and residential care providers Home from Home.

Jayne Lunnon, general manager UK at TePe, said: "The great location benefits our employees as there is ample car parking, a number of public transport options and hotels and restaurants in Wells and the surrounding area to entertain our international colleagues and visitors.
