Department for International Trade (DIT) and China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) will be leading a UK delegation of companies as 2017 Nuclear Outward Mission, to participate in a programme based at the 12th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry. By working closely with China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), a workshop focusing on supply chain in both China and UK will be held to discuss the cooperation opportunities and what UK can offer to both markets.
The mission will provide UK delegates with the opportunity to be part of the UK Pavilion at the 12th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry, during April 27-29 in Beijing, with exposure to over 8,000 trade visitors. An additional activities programme will be arranged including a potential site visit, one-to-one meetings with key Chinese nuclear players and a workshop to further explore potential collaborations in future projects using the Hualong nuclear reactor technology in China, UK and third countries.
